Alternative Feed feed is extra commonly used to conserve the use of artificial pellet feed mill. Thus it can reduce the cost of feed for catfish enlargement. Alternative feed should be used to have a medium-sized catfish (> 12 cm).

Alternative feed commonly used:

- Chicken carcasses. Giving grilled chicken carcasses should be in advance to all the feathers 

  out, or it  could also be boiled, but first rooster feathers before granted revoked.

- Trash fish. Generally trash fish is marine catches are small and unfit for human consumption.  

  Thus it can be obtained cheaply and of course high in protein for catfish enlargement.

- Snails. Although often become pests to plants, snails are very good to be used as an alternative feed. 

  Before given, snails should be boiled and removed from the shell.

- Sausage expired. The sausage has a fairly high protein content, but for feeding should be boiled 

  first and given little by little so that no residue settles at the bottom of the pool.
