History and Background
Kampung catfish is the name for the village Tegalrejo because most residents work as farmers catfish. Beginning of the village catfish preceded by three farmers Tegalrejo villages namely Sugiarno, Sugiardi, and Darsino in 1990 stems from the yard of the house is used as catfish farming business enlargement. These conditions inspired the villagers Tegalrejo that catfish enlargement efforts more profitable and can be developed to make ends meet. 1993 people started to follow Sugiarno Tegalrejo, Sugiardi and Darsino to cultivate catfish. The development of the business of enlarging catfish catfish farming business group formed a group of 16 people and is named Revive Group Build Fish Tegalrejo.
In 1998, the business is growing, the more widespread cultivation of catfish ponds and the number of group members who join the growing number amounted to 70 people. Increasing the number of members of the group, Darsino create institutional structures that are well coordinated. Darsino and other community members to change the name of the group into Mina Karya Utama, where work means work, mina means fish and is the main staple.

On 20 February 2007 the village catfish rebuplik got a visit from the president of Indonesia, Mr. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. President grants awards to Darsino as chairman of the group that is the main work of mina satya Lancana entrepreneurial work. In 2009 the minister of marine and fisheries, Fadel Muhammad to visit and provide an extension of the village to increase the production of processed catfish and breakthrough the market so as to ensure the production market.
