Candiru (Most Danger Fish In The World)

Candiru or Canero (Vandellia cirrhosa) is a type of freshwater fish with a bunch of catfish. This species is found in the Amazon River and has a reputation among locals as the most feared fish, even more than the piranha. Species, measuring only about an inch in length, shaped like an eel and transparent that they are hard to see in the water. Candiru is a kind of parasite. He entered into the crevices other fish gills, issued in order to hold the spine in place, and drink the blood in the gills, so called "vampire fish of Brazil".

This fish is feared because he is attracted to urine or blood, and someone swimming naked when he would get into the anus or vagina, or even a small fish to the hole when the penis - and possibly into the urethra). When this happens Candiru fish is very difficult to take back except through surgery. Because these fish find their prey by following the flow of water from the gills to its source, urinating while swimming increases the likelihood of human urethra into the Candiru.

Traditional treatment is with two plants, Xagua (Genipa americana) and apple Buitach inserted into the affected area. Both of these plants will kill and dissolve the fish. More often, infection causes shock and death of the victim before Candiru can be taken.
