African Freshwater Pipefish



African Freshwater Pipefish is a kind of fish pipefish or tangkur pipe that comes from West Africa, mainly in Gabon, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea.


In contrast to other types of pipe tangkur that live in the ocean, these fish live in freshwater. Habitat in rivers are filled with vegetation. The average size of these fish is 15 cm. African Freshwater Pipefish have an elongated body shape like a snake that is wrapped by a series of ring-shaped bone. Her mouth was small and shaped like a tube. Body mottled brown on top and red on the abdomen. This fish also has a fan-shaped tail fin and the anal fin is very small.

Crop water use is a water plant that can tolerate slightly brackish water conditions. Aeration conditions in the aquarium should be good.
